Titan Era Artist Competition – Terms and Conditions

1. Organizer
   This competition is organized by Titan Era (the “Organizer”).

2. Eligibility
   Open to individuals aged 18 or over, or those with parental/guardian consent if under 18. Participants must follow all competition rules to qualify. Employees, affiliates, and immediate family members of Titan Era are ineligible.

3. Competition Duration
   The competition begins on 19/10/2024 and runs for 45 days, ending on 03/12/2024. All entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM SAST on the closing date.

4. Entry Requirements
   Submission: Download the provided instrumental track, add your unique vocal track, and submit via the official website at www.titanera.co.za. File Format: Submissions must be in 320kbps MP3 format. Only one entry per participant is allowed.

5. Submission Content
   Originality: All vocal performances and content must be original and created by the entrant. Unauthorized sampling of copyrighted materials is prohibited. Compliance: Submissions must adhere to Titan Era’s content standards. Entries that fail to meet these standards may be disqualified.

6. Judging Criteria
   Evaluation: Entries will be judged on creativity, originality, vocal quality, and alignment with the provided instrumental. A panel of judges selected by Titan Era will evaluate all eligible entries during the judging period. Final Decisions: All judging decisions are final and based on subjective criteria of artistic merit.

7. Prizes
   1st Place: R2,500 cash prize + official release with Titan Era and R7,200 worth of annual marketing to maximize reach and visibility for the winning track. 2nd & 3rd Places: Official release of their track in collaboration with Titan Era. Notification: Winners will be notified by email and announced on Titan Era’s social media channels within 15 days following the competition close.

8. Release of Rights
   By entering, participants grant Titan Era a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, edit, and distribute their submissions for promotional purposes. Distribution Restrictions: Remixes can be shared on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and SoundCloud, but distribution to platforms like Spotify or any commercial DSP is not permitted unless authorized by Titan Era. Winners agree to sign any necessary release forms for the official distribution of their track.

9. Advertising and Promotional Terms
   Titan Era reserves the right to promote the winning track(s) across various platforms, including social media, ads, and other digital marketing channels. The Organizer plans to invest R7,200 annually per track for the first-place winner’s official release, providing extended exposure and visibility. Promotion will include paid advertising, social media exposure, and other marketing tactics at the Organizer’s discretion.

10. Privacy
    Data Use: Personal information collected from participants is used solely for competition administration and is not shared with third parties. Identity Verification: Winners may be required to verify their identity before claiming their prize.

11. Miscellaneous
    Modification and Termination: Titan Era reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions, extend deadlines, or terminate the competition without prior notice. Acceptance: By entering, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions and accept Titan Era’s final decisions regarding the competition.
